" James and the team at Trueline were recommended to us by a friend who had used Trueline for their renovation. As the workmanship on our friend’s house was excellent we had no hesitation in including Trueline in our contract tender process. We found Trueline to be priced competitively but equally importantly we found them to be flexible on the structure of contract we wanted as this took account of our specific circumstances. I can’t speak highly enough of the Trueline team. At the start of every week they talked to us about the focus for the week ahead and discussed with us any aspects of the job that needed our input. They turned up everyday unless weather was an issue. On the few days where they were unable to work due to weather they always let us know early. James has put together a team of high quality workers. The teams’ work ethic, respect for the client and workmanship was excellent. The quality of the workmanship is demonstrated by the fact that, one of our friends takes pleasure in pointing out, the veranda Trueline rebuilt fits in so well with the house that you can’t tell it has been rebuilt (other than it isn’t falling down now!!!) When we engaged Trueline, James estimated the job would take 11 weeks and the original contract work took exactly that. We engaged the team to undertake some additional work and were a little anxious as we had been told this is where builders often inflate their costs. However, we had a very pleasing experience with James and his team. Additional costs were transparent and totally fair. The true proof of how pleased we were with the Trueline team, is demonstrated by the fact when we undertook a major hard landscaping project we had no hesitation in reengaging Trueline (no tender this time). And as with the original renovation they did an outstanding job. The care they took is perhaps best demonstrated by the fact there were no mistakes made and so no areas required reworking. At the time we wondered why the team were being so careful with laying out the edging to the paths and driveway. One heavy rain quickly answered that. The driveway and paths all drain perfecting with no pooling of water. Something that can’t be said for a house close to us that was recently built and which suffers from considerable ponding issues on its driveway. Overall we have no hesitation in recommending the Trueline team and have recommended them to family and friends.
