We contracted Trueline in early 2013 to undertake a renovation on our late 19th century villa in Devonport. This was to be a complex job bringing back this old villa to its Heritage, replacing the lean-to and totally rebuilding the interior. Trueline were not the cheapest tender we obtained but were not far behind the lowest price. They did however offer the fixed price contract we sought and also we were impressed by their ability not only to undertake the construction work required but also to undertake the substantial excavation work. James Gibson the Managing Director of Trueline met us to discuss the pros and cons of the contract before it was executed, was clear in his understanding of the job required and his pricing of same. He made it clear in this discussion any tasks that were not included in the pricing. Trueline commenced the job pretty much on time, provided an excellent tradesman in Lance Boardman and a good young support team. The project was expected from the outset to be complete in approximately 25 weeks and not only was this achieved but at the price originally agreed and without any mishaps or disagreements along the way.
